I really enjoy using words like “multidisciplina I really enjoy using words like “multidisciplinary artist” when I’ve always just had too many hobbies and not enough time. My mother still reminds me of my 3-week knitting spree when I was in elementary school. I have not knitted since. And of course I enjoyed IDM for this very same reason - constantly learning new methods for expression I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise. The act of creation is inherently so satisfying to me that sometimes it hardly matters what I’m actually making.
